Chief executive, Campbell Gower, says Mokopuna™ is a brand that advocates natural fibres and takes in all that is good about nature, which is why so much pain and anguish has been felt of the terrible damage caused to Australian wildlife.
“Though New Zealand based, we knew there was something we could do to alleviate the suffering of a few and contribute to the rebuild of our much loved neighbour.”
A limited edition collection affectionately named ‘Aroha’, has been created with100% of sales donated to support WWF in their daily and tremendous effort to rescue, support and help the wildlife community to recover.
Mokopuna’s in-house designer has developed a very special print design that beautifully portrays the faces of 3 distinctive wildlife animals of Australia - the koala, wombat, and kangaroo - all powerfully symbolising the strength and spirit of the innocent affected.
"The ‘Aroha’ collection reflects the gorgeous and unique wildlife that live in Australia. Inspired by the simplicity of the message I wanted to portray, the clean geometric lines celebrate the visual kinship of the animals.”says Adzrina Ibrahim, In-house Designer
“We understand the recovery will continue for months, so we hope our contribution can make a difference,” says Gower.
This limited edition ‘Aroha’ collection is available in two of the brands most popular styles and has been printed locally in Wellington with eco-friendly ink.
Let’s show our Australian furry friends our support. In doing so, you’ll be making amindful and sustainable choice that positively impacts the future of our wee mokopuna, and helps restore our precious wildlife.
